Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2022: Naval Dockyard, Visakhapatnam has invited applications from ITI-qualified INDIAN national candidates for Apprenticeship Training in various designated trades for a period of one year at the Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Visakhapatnam. Candidates born on or before 02 May 2009 shall be eligible for applying apprenticeship training batch 2023-24 as per the Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2022 Notification. There are a total of 275 Apprenticeship vacancies for the 2023-24 batch at the School.
Interested and eligible candidates may visit the NAPS Portal and register online. The desirous applicants may log in using the registration credentials., upload the necessary documents and submit, and take a Printout of the Application Form. Candidates are requested to apply for the job post before the deadline. No application shall be entertained after the stipulated time/ date. Incomplete applications and applications received after the specified time/ date shall be REJECTED.
The last date for Receipt of “Off-line application” along with relevant documents by Post by 09 Jan 2023. As per Naval Dockyard Recruitment Notification Applications received after 09 Jan 2023 will not be accepted for any reason.

The candidate should have SSC/Matric/ Std X with a minimum of 50 % as the aggregate percentage.
The candidate should have ITI (NCVT/SCVT) with a minimum of 65 % as the aggregate percentage.
The qualifications on the basis of which candidates will be shortlisted are as given below:
Candidates born on or before 02 May 2009 shall be eligible for applying apprenticeship training batch 2023-24.
Admissibility of stipend is based on the GoI Gazette Notification No. 561 dated 25 Sep 2019.
Shortlisting of candidates will be on the basis of marks secured in the SSC/ Matriculation/ Class 10 exam and ITI marks, in a ratio of 70:30 and a merit list will be drawn up and selected candidates will be sent a call letter. Call letters for appearing in the written examination will be sent to the shortlisted applicants in the ratio of 1:5 against existing vacancies in each trade and category to maintain reservation quota as per existing guidelines.
